The Opportunity
Hansler Industries is looking for a Branch Manager to join our team in Brockville or Ottawa, Ontario. As the Branch Manager, you will oversee the branch operations of both the Brockville and Ottawa branch locations to ensure optimal performance, financial results, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Branch Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead branch operations, ensuring all departments function in alignment with company goals
- Partner with Senior Management and Business Unit Leads to execute strategic initiatives
- Manage the branch profit & loss and review and optimize revenue, margins, expenses, and profitability
- Analyze customer activity, identify service gaps, and develop engagement strategies with Business Unit Leads
- Partner with the Sales & Rentals department to develop new business, strengthen customer relationships, and capture market opportunities
- Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team
- Conduct regular coaching conversations, performance reviews, and employee development plans
- Chair the Branch Safety Committee and reinforce safety as a core value
- Encourage cross-functional cooperation and shared accountability across roles and departments
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a multi-departmental or branch management role
- Experience in dock & door, material handling, industrial equipment, or automotive service industries is an asset, but not required
- Strong financial literacy and business acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and build a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Demonstrated ability to drive customer engagement and resolve escalations effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business systems including ERP/CRM systems
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to travel is required

The base pay range for this role is: $102,800 to $130,000 per year depending on experience.
