The Opportunity

This role is designed for International Medical Graduates or Internationally Trained Physicians actively pursuing medical licensing in North America. As an International Medical Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a physician—serving as the “eyes and ears” of the doctor in the exam room while gaining first-hand exposure to the Canadian healthcare system.

Compensation: Based on experience, arranged directly with the hiring manager.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree required.
  • MCCQE, USMLE, and/or NAC OSCE completion an asset.
  • Previous residency interviews in Canada or the U.S. an asset.
  • Recent medical experience (within the last 5 years) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken, written, reading, comprehension); other languages an asset.
  • Must have valid Canadian work eligibility (PR, Citizenship, or Work Permit valid >12 months; no sponsorships).
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM.
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and at multiple clinic sites.
  • Strong professionalism, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with EMRs and basic IT systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
