About Agency Atlas
At Agency Atlas, we believe great marketing starts with great relationships. We don't just deliver creative—we become trusted partners to our clients, helping them navigate challenges, identify opportunities, and move their businesses forward.
Our team is built on one simple principle: Talent + Give-a-Shit.
We're looking for an Account Manager who genuinely enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, and knows how to balance client expectations with internal priorities.
This isn't a sales role; it's a relationship leadership role.
Position Overview
The Account Manager serves as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring every project, conversation, and initiative moves forward smoothly.
You'll build strong client relationships, identify opportunities, solve problems before they become issues, and coordinate closely with our Project Managers, strategists, creatives, developers, and leadership team to ensure every client receives exceptional service.
This role is equal parts relationship management, strategic communication, and operational leadership.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, calm under pressure, and capable of seeing both the big picture and the small details.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Build trusted relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service. Understand each client's business, goals, priorities, and challenges. Lead regular meetings, check-ins, and strategic conversations. Respond to client questions and concerns promptly and professionally. Anticipate issues before they become problems. Maintain client confidence while managing expectations honestly.
Account Leadership
Maintain a clear understanding of every active project across assigned accounts. Recognize shifting priorities and communicate them internally. Ensure clients always know where projects stand. Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes. Escalate risks or concerns before timelines or budgets are affected. Help clients prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
Internal Team Coordination
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain on schedule. Help prioritize workloads based on client needs and business objectives. Communicate upcoming work, changing priorities, and resource requirements. Meet regularly with department heads to review workload and upcoming deliverables. Ensure designers, developers, copywriters, strategists, SEO specialists, media buyers, and social teams have the information they need to succeed. Keep internal teams aligned with client expectations.
Strategic Planning
Participate in client strategy sessions. Help identify future marketing opportunities. Support campaign planning across digital, creative, web, advertising, SEO, CRM, and social media. Recommend new initiatives based on client goals. Assist in developing annual and quarterly marketing plans.
Communication
Lead client meetings with professionalism and confidence. Prepare agendas, follow-up notes, and action items. Ensure clear communication between clients and internal teams. Translate technical or creative concepts into language clients understand. Ensure commitments made during meetings are communicated internally.
Account Growth
Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships. Introduce new services where they genuinely benefit the client. Support proposal development alongside leadership. Help maintain long-term client satisfaction and retention.
Quality Assurance
Ensure deliverables meet client expectations before presentation. Review work for completeness, consistency, and strategic alignment. Advocate for both the client and the agency to achieve the best possible outcome.
