What You’ll Do As the Facilities and Fleet Manager, you will lead the oversight and maintenance of North Central Co-op’s facility assets and vehicle fleet to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations. This leadership role involves strategic planning, operational execution, and hands-on problem solving across NCC’s trading area.

  • Oversee facility operations, maintenance plans, vendor coordination, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Manage fleet inventory, maintenance schedules, procurement, and fuel usage optimization.
  • Lead budgeting and cost control strategies for both facilities and fleet.
  • Provide leadership and development to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze performance data and present insights to senior leadership.

Who You Are You are looking for a career in Maintenance and Operations and:

  • Education: You have a post-secondary degree or certification in Business Administration, Logistics, Facilities Management, or a related field. Journeyman certification is valued. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience: You have 5+ years of experience leading teams in facility and fleet departments, including coaching and providing feedback.
  • Skills: You’re familiar with fleet and maintenance management software, safety and environmental regulations, and stakeholder management.
