Context:
We are seeking a highly skilled Railway Track Design Engineer with a extensive experience in railway track design.
Missions/Main Duties:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conventional Track design: Design of conventional ballasted track. Using timber, concrete or steel ties.
- Ballast Less Track Design: Design of Track Systems such as Plinth Track, Slab Track, Embedded Track etc and Understanding of Ballast less Track components.
- Track Alignment Design: Develop and optimize railway track alignments while considering factors like Design Criteria, Quantity optimization, Automation etc.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Bentley Rail Track, Open Rail Designer, or Civil 3D to create and modify track designs, profiles, and alignments.
- Survey Data Integration: Collaborate with survey teams to incorporate survey data into track alignment designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Alignment Analysis: Perform alignment analysis to evaluate the impact of curves, grades, and superelevation on train operations and safety.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Project team, Engineer and employer, to deliver comprehensive railway track designs.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, reports, and documentation for track alignment designs.
Profile/Skills:
The ideal candidate will have minimum 8 years of experience and a strong background in using software such as Bentley Rail Track, Open Rail Designer, or Civil 3D for the development and optimization of railway track alignments.
