Lead Business Process Analyst - Hybrid In-Office Tue. Wed. Thurs (WFH Mon& Fri)
OpenText is seeking a Lead Business Process Analyst to join our Engineering Project Management Office. This role reports to Director, Business Processes and will be responsible for headcount and workforce planning support, including headcount reporting, workforce forecasting, supporting leaders with financial modelling, approvals of position workflows, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and supporting integration teams during acquisitions. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, have a high degree of autonomy, and a broad understanding of the business and finance. The individual will foster strong working relationships with various internal stakeholders, strive on process improvements, and can manage inputs from multiple sources.

What the role offers:
- Support headcount planning by managing budgets, targets, and monthly/annual forecasts in collaboration with HR and Finance teams.
- Oversee position workflows and requisition approvals with urgency and precision to maintain hiring efficiency.
- Drive real-time, self-service headcount (HC) management initiatives and improve data integrity through audits and system reconciliations.
- Track and report on headcount KPIs across engineering products/projects, identifying data quality issues and resolving feed/link discrepancies.
- Provide strategic analysis on headcount savings opportunities and assist in workforce strategy development for senior leadership.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, deliver clear presentations, and support continuous improvement through automation and ad-hoc analysis.
What you need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; professional designation (CPA, CGA, CMA) preferred.
- 8+ years of finance experience in fast-paced environments, ideally within the technology sector.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and drive initiatives to completion.
- High business acumen, financial aptitude, and analytical skills to support sound decision-making and practical recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word; Power BI considered an asset.
- Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders to influence strategic decisions while executing tactical processes with integrity and excellence.
- Exceptional communication skills, self-starter mindset, and adaptability to thrive in complex, high-growth, and evolving business environments.
