Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Forklift Operator who is responsible for using forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materials.
Duties and responsibilities:

Operate forklift (counterbalance) to load and unload trailers using load cards
-
Handle large and heavy freight safely and efficiently
-
Stack pallets properly following load patterns to prevent damage
-
Move freight within the crossdock area with speed and accuracy
-
Dim (measure) and weigh pallets as required
-
Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies
-
Perform daily equipment inspections
-
Maintain cleanliness and complete housekeeping duties in the work area
-
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
MUST have at least 2-3 years of experience with Forklift
-
Must have an excellent attendance record
-
High attention to quality standards and solid detail-orientation required
-
Valid forklift certification
-
Ability to read and write in English with proficiency
-
Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative
-
punctuality and reliability
-
Experience in a crossdock or warehouse environment preferred
-
Good teamwork and communication skills
Additional Information
Salary:
$22.00 Per Hour to Start (potential shift premium after successful completion of probationary period).
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm
