In this role you will be accountable for monitoring, troubleshooting, client support, configuration, and operations of Suncor’s IT infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Networking, Telecommunications, Information Technology or Computer Science
- Minimum 2 years experience with network and/or server support
- A Cisco Certified (CCNA or above) or Juniper (JNCIA-Junos or above) certification

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support IT infrastructure components related to networks, virtualization, cloud, servers, storage, and backups.
- Evaluate and triage IT infrastructure events and perform and document complex troubleshooting of IT events
- Monitor planned IT infrastructure changes
- Co-ordinate incident resolution within IT infrastructure operations, collaborating with specialist teams to ensure effective troubleshooting and timely resolution
- Issue escalations via established processes
Location and other Key details:
- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
- The work shift is a “4-on-4-off” schedule in a 24/7 and 365 days/year operational setting. “4-on-4-off” shifts require consent to OT Averaging. Shifts may change based on Suncor business requirements.
- Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
