About the role
Overview
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all custodial duties are completed, and the property is always kept in a clean and safe state.
Role and Responsibilities
- Keeps washrooms checked and tidy on a frequent schedule; focusing on guest washrooms.
- Maintains stock of washroom products (soaps, toilet paper) using Cintas website.
- Cleans all guest area floors prior to the opening of the facility.
- Maintains cleanliness of windows, walls and surfaces throughout the property as needed.
- Maintains grounds in the public areas (e.g. changing garbage cans, picking up litter).
- Sanitizes touch points across property.
- Cleans staff areas including staff room and offices.
- Assists maintenance and porters with duties as required.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- 1 year of prior experience in a custodial or housekeeping position is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Communication: This position requires excellent listening, speaking, and ability to follow directions.
- Customer Service: Willing to go above and beyond to achieve customer satisfaction; personable.
- Time Management: Able to use time effectively, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines; always on time.
- Adaptability: Able to accept changing conditions and new information in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical: Will be required to go long periods without rest, occasionally lift or move objects over 50LBS.
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available on weekends and holidays.
- Indoor and outdoor work required.
- Overtime as required.
