Position: Bilingual Translation Quality Specialist
Type: Contract Compensation: $20–$30/hour Location: Remote Duration: 1+ months Commitment: 10+ hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated French translations for fluency and naturalness, ensuring alignment with local usage in France.
- Identify and correct mistranslations, tone issues, or awkward phrasing to enhance translation quality.
- Suggest improvements to reflect idiomatic and contextually appropriate language.
- Provide structured linguistic feedback on phrasing, clarity, and regional norms.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and speed when reviewing content.
Qualifications Must-Have
- Native or near-native fluency in both French and English.
- Deep familiarity with French as spoken and written in France.
- 1+ year of experience in translation, localization, or editorial review.
- Strong attention to linguistic detail and cultural nuance.
- Excellent reading comprehension and feedback skills.
