Associate Manager, Commercialization
6 month contract, Full-time
Calgary, Mississauga
The Associate Manager, Commercialization is responsible for executing commercialization programs, marketing assets, and customer-facing tools that enable sales success within the Foodservice channel. This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and Brand—ensuring strategies are translated into impactful, in-market execution and supported with best-in-class assets and processes. Reporting to the Director of Sales Canada, Food Service, this team member will work collaboratively with both internal and external partners to drive success.
Key Responsibilities
Commercialization & Asset Development
Develop and deliver sell sheets, presentations, launch kits, banners, and commercial decks Build briefs for digital and print assets (product innovation, equipment, and customer-specific programs) Manage event and activation materials (trade shows, customer activations, Foodservice events) Maintain and update selling tools, product catalogs, and asset libraries
Creative & Production Management
Manage agencies, designers, and production partners from briefing through execution Oversee print production and digital asset platforms (e.g., menu creation tools) Ensure all deliverables meet brand, legal, and governance requirements
Financial & Operational Management
Track and manage A&P budgets, including forecasting and actuals Own PO creation and invoice approvals to ensure financial accuracy Support disciplined budget management across all commercialization initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales, Brand, RGM, and Omni teams to align on channel strategies Support development and execution of Foodservice commercialization plans
Digital & Performance Tracking
Manage KPIs, dashboards, and campaign performance tracking Support content development for eNewsletters and digital platforms Monitor program results and identify optimization opportunities
Communication & Process Excellence
Ensure alignment and approvals across stakeholders (e.g., asset approval processes) Provide clear updates on innovation and commercialization progress Support cross-functional meetings and follow-ups
Total Rewards:
CAD $78,300 - $99,000 annually.
Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility. Benefits, subject to eligibility: medical, dental, disability, life insurance, paid time off (including vacation and personal time), RRSP with company match, tuition reimbursement, employee and family assistance program, and coffee discount.

Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in marketing, commercialization, or trade marketing Experience in Foodservice, CPG, or beverage industry preferred Strong project management and organizational skills Experience managing agencies, vendors, and production workflows Financial acumen (budgets, POs, forecasting) Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/French) Experience with digital marketing platforms and asset management systems
