About the role
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 probationary teaching position.
- Courseload to include
- Grade 6 general, including Physical Education, and Art
- Collaborative work with a classroom partner, cohort partner and a collaborative grade team.
- Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year
Qualifications:

Experience working in a grade level and courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Familiarity with Daily 5 and LLI

Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment

Assessment literate

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of specific and individual needs

Effective classroom management

Commitment to ongoing professional growth
