Job Title: Customer Service Representative Job Summary The Customer Service Representative role is essential in providing top-tier support for all Salford products and assisting customers with their needs. This role requires passion for helping people, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive support for all Salford products, including answering customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
- Recommend parts and equipment based on customer needs and technical specifications.
- Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly.
- Offer estimates for spare parts and whole goods and assist customers with order placement.
- Accurately review and enter customer orders for spare parts and whole goods.
- Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and disputes in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Provide timely updates and information on the status of customer orders
- Maintain detailed documentation for all customer orders and interactions.
- Enter and manage the call queue when working at your desk.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer-related issues.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak times, seasonal demands, and statutory holidays.
- Accomplish other tasks and serve as backup when needed
Academic/Educational Requirements
- Diploma or degree in related field, or equivalent experience
Required Skills/Experience
- A minimum of three years of experience in a customer service role
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment and/or the commercial agriculture industry an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical aptitude
- Experience with large ERP systems an asset
- Strong desire to help people
