Trade Reconciliation Specialist
About the role
Contract Duration : 6 months
Location : Hybrid (on-site for 4 days a week) | Toronto Downtown
Daily Responsibilities:

Serve as a liaison between the trader and the clearing area, interacting with personnel fromvarious institutions to correct trading activity-related issues
-
Coordinate the settlement of Canadian/North American or global securities lending andtrading activity (security types include: bond, equity and money market)
-
Review monthly statements for determining lending fees payable and receivable

Balance money entries
-
Develop and maintain supplier and customer relationships

Advanced user proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, spreadsheet/financial accounting skills, and any other related accounting software
Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance

1-2 years of experience

Advanced verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of specialty transaction guidelines and systems

Knowledge of financial analysis

Advanced user proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, spreadsheet/financial accounting skills, and any other related accountingsoftware
Nice-to-have Skills/Experience and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:
Experience in financial services industry
