About the role
The Service Supervisor plays a key role in the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the branch. We are looking for a leader who brings insight, experience, and a positive influence to lead our skilled trades in the field at a mining customer’s site.
Location: Kamloops, BC
Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 plus incentive. This position is eligible for overtime.
Schedule: 7x7 day shift rotation.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee field service operations by ensuring operational requirements are met by supervising, coordinating and scheduling the activities of trades people. Prepares service quotes for both internal and external customers.
- Supervisory Responsibilities include supporting and developing staff by providing or arranging training on assigned tasks and tracking their training. Review schedules to ensure trades people are allocated correctly and each department has the support they require.
- Customer Service is provided by assisting customers with service information and resolving service problems by providing solutions and following up to ensure resolution. Serves as a back up to the Service Manager with the customer.
What You Bring
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician plus 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory capacity.
Additional qualifications include:
- A thorough knowledge of maintenance and repair of construction/mining equipment.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change and influence outcomes.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
Pre-Employment
