Job Summary The Event and Marketing Specialist plays a key role in bringing Glen Dimplex Americas’ brands to life through impactful events and localized marketing initiatives. In this role, you will lead the strategic planning, organization, and execution of marketing events, including tradeshows, customer programs, and regional activations. You will oversee budgets, vendor partnerships, and event logistics to ensure flawless execution and alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate combines creativity with operational excellence, delivering engaging brand experiences, building strong customer relationships, and using insights to continuously improve performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute regional marketing events and activations, including tradeshows, customer programs, product demos, and partner initiatives.
- Oversee event logistics from start to finish, including vendor coordination, shipping, booth setup, and on-site execution.
- Manage budgets and vendor partnerships to ensure events are delivered on time, on brand and within budget.
- Measure and report on event performance, including ROI, lead quality, and customer engagement metrics, to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure brand consistency across all event materials, signage, and communications in alignment with corporate marketing standards.
- Manage inventory, printing, ordering, and distribution of marketing collateral such as brochures and signage to support regional marketing initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer insights that inform events and marketing strategy.
- Manage inventory and ordering of branded promotional materials to support events and field initiatives.
- Manage industry partnerships and memberships across all channels.
- Ability to safety lift and transport items weighing up to 30 lbs, including trade show materials, product samples, and related equipment.
Qualifications & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field marketing, event planning, or B2B marketing.
- Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to travel across Canada and the U.S. as required.
