The salary range for this position is CAD $41.42/Hr. - CAD $55.91/Hr.

Please note that a resume and cover letter is required to apply for this specialty training opportunity. Eligibility for the post-basic training education is prioritized to applicants with approximately two****years recent acute medical/surgical experience upon critical care program full-time start date. BCIT Critical Care Nursing Specialty Program Online Theory (if required): Jan. 5 - Jun. 21, 2026 2 BCIT Workshop Days (Paid): Apr. 10 and Apr. 29 2026 Full-time training at BCIT & practicum locations: Jun. 29 - Sept. 18, 2026 *course dates will be modified based on previous courses completed, VCH only funds for required courses. Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for Registered Nurses to join the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) at Vancouver General Hospital. Apply today to join our team! As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit you will:
- Provide nursing care to high risk critically ill clients with unpredictable outcomes attached to life-support equipment, and/or clients in post-anaesthetic recovery, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Enhance quality of life from the perspective of the client/family.
- Consult, confer, and collaborate with other health care givers.
- Demonstrate expertise and leadership in nursing practice.
- Maintain and advance your own clinical competence.
- Participate on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
