Seneca Animal Clinic We are a well-established, companion animal practice that has been serving our loyal clientele in North York and the surrounding area for over 30 years. We are lucky to have multi-generational families who value exceptional care for their pets and continue to rely on our passionate and close knit team of doctors and support staff. We are looking for a Medical Drector veterinarian who loves surgery, thrives on building long-lasting relationships and is eager to join a rapidly growing clinic. We are centrally located and easily accessible by the TTC, as well as the 407, 401 and 404/DVP highways.
Medical Director Veterinarian – Lead with Excellence! As Medical Director, you’ll set the standard for medical excellence, mentor a talented veterinary team, and collaborate with leadership to ensure the success of the hospital. This is more than a clinical role it’s a chance to inspire, guide, and elevate the level of care we provide to our patients and clients.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor veterinarians and support staff to deliver exceptional medical care
- Develop and implement medical protocols and best practices
- Oversee surgical and medical cases to ensure positive outcomes and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with the hospital manager on operational strategies and growth initiatives
- Participate in community events and foster strong client relationships
- Provide hands-on veterinary care, including consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries
- Promote a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning
What You’ll Need To Excel
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent, licensed in Ontario
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Commitment to delivering the highest standard of veterinary medicine
