Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Direct and coordinate warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Implement and enforce best practices for product handling, storage, and distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility — equipment in top shape, safety rules followed.
Branch Operations
- Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor workflow to meet productivity goals and service level agreements.
- Ensure both shipping trucks are scheduled and moving daily to maximize delivery efficiency.
- Ensure all branch facilities and equipment are properly maintained.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to handle orders and resolve issues fast.
- Be able to jump into different position in the branch to help.
Staff Leadership & Development
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse and operations staff.
- Schedule work shifts, manage workloads, and monitor employee performance.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce health & safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Conduct safety meetings and maintain proper documentation.
Customer Service & Communication
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve issues.
- Respond to escalated operational concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and delivery partners.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or branch operations experience, 2+ years in customer service, with at least 1 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
Work in warehouse conditions including varying temperatures.
