Graphic Designer

Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer will develop a wide range of creative assets, including but not limited to: packaging, catalogues, POP, and digital marketing aids, ensuring consistent quality while adhering to the brand guidelines for Stanfield’s, Elita, FR/ Life Liners, and Special Projects (Branded). Led by the Director of Design & Merchandising, the Graphic Designer with also work cross-functionally to support the Marketing team and Screenprint/Embroidery department as required. They are fluent in Adobe Creative Suite and will manage projects through all phases of development, create new concepts, design, revise, and prepare for execution. The incumbent will be a key member of the Design and Merchandising Department to ensure quality remains true to Stanfield’s legacy.
Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and create engaging designs for packaging, print materials

Coordinate directly with various external suppliers for printing/ production fulfillment, file delivery

Work closely with the Design team to create packaging, catalogues, print designs
-
Manage samples from suppliers and present to internal teams for approval
-
Manage projects through all phases of development, create new concepts, designs, revise, and final product presentation

Manage digital assets – Image and branding shared drive
-
Understand and execute corporate identity for multimedia design
Administrative responsibilities:
-
Incorporating brand guidelines into all products
-
Track and manage workflow and ensure seasonal deadlines are met
-
Participate in internal department team meetings where appropriate

Understand Merchandising Calendar process and deliverables
Product Development Collaboration:
-
Work with internal teams and external agencies to develop branded materials for print / digital
-
Support marketing team with digital content where required
Education and Experience:
-
Degree or certification in graphic design or related field
-
Work experience: 3-6 years
Skills and Experience:
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) / Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly detail oriented, self-motivated, organized, able to prioritize and handle challenges
- Experience in print on various medias including but not limited to: Paper, Paperboard, corrugate & plastic
Working Conditions:
- Travel Requirements - No frequent or regular travel as part of the position
- Physical Environment - Little to no exposure to disagreeable elements. Office and Plant environments
- Physical Demand - Almost all activities are of low to medium physical intensity.
- Mental Effort - Moderate intensity with periods of higher mental effort
