If you have strong reporting and analytical skills and can translate complex data into clear, concise insights, then this role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your financial acumen. You will support performance analysis, stewardship, planning, and continuous improvement of cost and finance processes for our Fort Hills support and services areas. We’re seeking someone with exceptional critical thinking skills who takes pride in delivering high‑quality work, can influence and facilitate change across Fort Hills and Finance, and is eager to grow their leadership capabilities.

Minimum Requirements:
- Five years of relevant financial and analytical experience
- A bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting or Finance
- Working towards a recognized accounting designation (CPA, CFA) with a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Power BI and presentation development
- Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills, with a proven ability to partner effectively outside of finance and a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate financial performance, strategies and key drivers to leadership and finance stakeholders
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and summarize findings into actionable insights
- Coordinate, prepare and deliver monthly accruals, performance management reports, forecasts, budget and business planning deliverables to senior leaders
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in performance reporting, planning processes and deliverables
- Gather and interpret data from different sources, identify and analyze operational trends, and develop strategies to address issues or concerns
Location and other Key Details:
- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
