About the role

Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Direct farm feed inventory activities . Handling animals. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Maintain financial and production records. Maintain livestock performance records. Select livestock for sale. Supervision: 3-4 people. Area of specialization: Cattle breeding. Beef cattle. Dairy cattle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Large workload. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Organized. Team player. Screening questions: Are you available to start on the date listed in the job posting?.
