About the Role

Barrick is seeking a highly detail-oriented, analytical, and driven Total Rewards Analyst to join our Global Rewards team. Reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards, this role plays a key part in the administration and continuous enhancement of our global compensation, equity, and benefits programs.

The ideal candidate thrives in a data-driven environment, brings strong systems expertise, and is passionate about delivering accurate, seamless rewards experiences to employees across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Global Equity Administration

  • Manage global equity compensation programs usingMorgan Stanley at Work (Shareworks)
  • Administer employee accounts and long-term incentive (LTI) grants
  • Coordinate employee share plan enrollments, purchases, sales, and dividend distributions
  • Serve as a point of contact for equity-related inquiries

Benefits & Rewards Administration

  • Administer group benefits, retirement plans, global mobility programs, wellness initiatives, perquisites, and equity plans
  • Process new hire enrollments, terminations, and system updates
  • Track and report taxable benefits
  • Respond to employee inquiries with accuracy and urgency

Financial & Operational Support

  • Process global invoices and reconcile intercompany charges in partnership with HR, Finance, and Accounting
  • Support budgeting and accounts payable processes related to rewards programs

Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate, maintain, and analyze compensation, benefits, and HR dashboards and reports
  • Interpret rewards data to provide actionable insights and ensure data integrity

Annual Compensation Cycle Support

  • Partner with the broader Rewards team to support year-end compensation planning and execution

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within rewards programs
  • Maintain and update process documentation

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in compensation, equity administration, and/or HRIS systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including managing complex spreadsheets and large data sets
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and concepts

Nice to Have

  • Experience with budgeting and accounts payable processes
  • Proficiency in French and/or Spanish
