Job Description Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire a bilingual Claim Advisor, Auto to join our Maritimes team.
To meet our customer’s needs, your work week will be Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm AST.
Accountabilities:
- Review insurance policy and coverages
- Investigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liability
- Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices.
- Required to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Bilingual language fluency (English/French)
- Adjusting License Level 1 or equivalent
- 1 - 3 years handling complex automobile claims is required
- Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
Bonus Qualifications:
- Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) CIP designation
Compensation Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 41,850.00 - 64,518.75 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
