Reporting to and partnering with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Manager of Municipal Services plays a critical role in the strategic leadership and operational oversight of a broad range of municipal functions. A high degree of initiative and independent judgment is required to plan and carry out work in alignment with statutory obligations and established policy frameworks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned municipal leader with demonstrated experience in service delivery, infrastructure management, and strategic planning. The Manager of Municipal Services plays a key role in shaping the Village’s operational direction beyond day-to-day oversight, contributing to long-term planning, asset management, and sustainable service delivery. As a trusted advisor to the CAO, Council, and staff, the Manager provides guidance on best practices, risk mitigation, and innovative approaches to municipal operations. In addition to overseeing core service areas such as public works, parks, facilities, and land administration, the Manager supports governance, regulatory compliance, communications, and interdepartmental coordination. As a core member of the senior leadership team, the Manager contributes to decision-making across all service areas and helps drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Thorough knowledge of municipal service delivery related to land use, utilities, project management, and bylaw enforcement.
- 10 years of related experience with at least 5 years in a public-sector environment, preferably in a municipal setting.
- Degree or diploma in Public Administration, Civil Engineering, Planning or related field, or combination of equivalent training and experience.

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN

A competitive wage range of $105,000 - $120,000 based on your skills and qualifications.
