Are you a sales leader who thrives on driving result through developing and motivating other sales professionals and looking for a new exciting opportunity. Then look no further, we have an opportunity for you to join our team as a District Manager. In this position, you will play a pivotal part in the selling of Rogers & Fido products/services across our GTA stores through a team of in-store store managers and sales representatives, driving revenue, results and positive customer experiences across a designated territory of stores
A day in the life of a District Manager
- Provide the local voice of the market back to Head Office peers and Rogers/Fido team members
- Liaise with Rogers/Fido representatives to establish strong results via interdependent relationships
- Work with key personnel to troubleshoot and solve customer care issues
- Comply with the policies and procedures laid out by both the Company and Rogers
- Participate in special sales events, promotions and projects, as required
- Attend regular meetings to review status on performance metrics and store growth objectives
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, seminars, conference calls, etc. as required
- Hire, train, develop and grow effective local teams to meet / exceed operational standards
- Provide guidance and training on retail policies and procedures for Store Managers and teams
Who you are
- You have demonstrated sales leadership, coaching and performance management abilities
- You are tech savvy, have a high degree of comfort with technology and knowledge of wireless products/services
- You have a track record for delivering results, leading top producing teams within commissioned environment
- You posses managerial, time management and organizational skills including ability to prioritize and balance multitude of sales and operational projects, tasks and deadlines
- You have the ability to interact/communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- You are a effective negotiator, results oriented and a sense of urgency
What you need
- Post-secondary education couple with retail management experience
- Previous retail district management experience is preferred with a track record of achieving results through others
- Must have own vehicle to frequently travel throughout the GTA
