About the role
Our Organization Prime Health Ltd. is a fastest growing NNHP (Natural and Non-prescription Health Product) manufacturing company based in Maple Ridge, BC having presence in North America, Asia, Middle East, and South American countries. We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for Accounting Assistant who can contribute to the following activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Payroll & Employee Records Management:
- Process bi-weekly payroll, adjusting employee work hours in ADP.
- Calculate and manage sales commissions.
- Update direct deposit and benefits information for employees.
- Issue Records of Employment (ROEs) and finalize termination processing in ADP.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Post AR payments in SAP and maintain accurate AR reports.
- Manage invoice dates and file AR/AP invoices.
- Communicate with clients or the Sales team regarding overdue AR payments.
- Process AP invoices and issue cheques to vendors.
- Perform AR payment reconciliations and post payroll GL on SAP.
- Issue credit notes when necessary.
3. Banking & Financial Transactions:
- Perform bank reconciliations and deposit cheques at RBC.
- Maintain petty cash and perform related transactions.
4. Administrative & Client Communication:
- File employee documents and work orders; maintain organized records.
- Communicate with clients regarding statements or invoices.
- Additional tasks may be assigned from time to time as required by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with ADP payroll system and SAP is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
