We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate, Enterprise FP&A, to join our team.

Role description

This role is critical in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong technical and communication skills.

What you will do:

  • Financial Planning & Forecasting:
    • Assist in preparing the annual 5-year financial plan and quarterly forecasts
    • Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, providing actionable insights
  • Performance Management:
    • Assist in the design and enhancement of the Company’s Performance Management approach
    • Provide analysis on key metrics against targets senior leadership
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain quarterly financial reports for senior leadership
    • Perform ad hoc analysis to support business initiatives and strategic projects
  • Data Management & Modeling:
    • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance and scenario planning
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data across systems and reports
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with business units to understand drivers of financial performance
    • Communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

What you will bring

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Professional designation (CPA, CFA) or working toward one is an asset
  • Experience in financial analysis, planning, or reporting (experience in insurance or wealth management preferred is an asset)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools; advanced Excel skills required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across multiple stakeholders

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Toronto or Winnipeg.

The base salary for this position is between $49,900 - $82,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
