About the role
Dougall Media, Thunder Bay’s only locally owned broadcast/multimedia company, is offering an exciting summer, part-time (4 months) opportunity as a Promotions Coordinator for 91-5 CKPR and Rock 94.
The Promotions Coordinator will be part of a dynamic team, representing 91-5 CKPR and Rock 94 at events throughout Thunder Bay. This highly outgoing, motivated, and organized individual will work closely with and report directly to the Manager of Marketing & Promotions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of station events and promotions Represent and execute station appearances at local events
- Facilitate the 91-5 CKPR Crew and Rock 94 Roadies Orientation and Training
- Schedule the 91-5 CKPR Crew and Rock 94 Roadies
- Assist with the supervision of the 91-5 CKPR Crew and Rock 94 Roadies
- Understand the mission of each event and execute with professionalism
- Take photos at events and make posts to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and station websites
- Perform on-location broadcast reports
- Drive company vehicles to promotions and events
- Manage all event equipment (tents, banners, games, swag, etc.) including regular maintenance, organization, and cleaning
Required Credentials & Skills:
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available weekends/evenings/holidays
- Must be proficient with social media and basic computer software
- Must be able to carry up to 40lbs
- Reliable and punctual
- Outgoing and organized
- Must have a G license and transportation to and from work
