Senior Project Technologist
Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation

The Senior Project Technologist position is ideal for someone looking for career advancement and professional growth, including an opportunity to develop into a Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will be familiar with relevant Ontario regulations and have at least 3-5 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.
A Day in the life of Senior Project Technology
- Perform Phase I/One and II/Two Environmental Site Assessments including soil, groundwater and soil vapour sampling in support of municipal redevelopment approvals and Record of Site Condition filings.
- Monitor underground storage tank removal programs and other remediation activities.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior/intermediate project technologists.
- Prepare and edit technical reports, including the development of conceptual site models.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain positive relationships.
What you bring to the Pinchin team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science.
- 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in Ontario
- Professional designation, such as EIT, P.Eng., P.Geo., CET, etc. (or working towards) is considered an asset.
- Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04
- Experience with Excess Soils work under Ontario Regulation 406/19
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Availability to travel for work when required.
- Availability to work outside core business hours.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
