Who you are

- Currently pursuing a Masters degree in the Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or other related degrees
- Graduating December 2026, or later
- Able to work full time for 12-weeks during the summer
- Portfolio of work is required at time of interview
- Experience successfully applying customer-centered research and mixed design methods, highly preferred
- Working knowledge of planning, developing and conducting User Research and Testing
- Comfortable in a customer facing role where you need to represent the ServiceNow brand
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry
What the job involves
- We offer 12-week summer internship opportunities across various business functions
- Interns will participate in executive speaker series, career development workshops, philanthropic efforts, and team-building activities
- Additionally, interns will have access to online learnings and a dedicated Summer Coach to further grow their careers with us
- We are the Experience Team (EX)! We are made up of Product Designers, UX Researchers, Technical Writers, and Design Operations
- Partner with cross-functional teams, like Product and Design, leveraging your research, communication and collaboration skills to drive shared understanding and decision making
- Conduct UX Research, across all phases of the product lifecycle from discovery to design validation, using various methodologies to represent the needs of customers and end users
- Contribute to the full research lifecycle, including planning, conducting studies, and presenting insights
- Communicate your findings through artifacts such as personas, journeys, task analyses, etc. as needed to your core team
- Partner closely with Sr. UX staff to help influence the product strategy and roadmaps
- Support design by conducting concept testing and/or usability testing
