Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our three day a week practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assisting with chair-side dental procedures and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience in Endodontics will be highly valued but not essential.

This position will suit someone available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45-5:15, hours could be flexible. It works well for a parent as we never work on Monday or Friday and we take 2 weeks off over Christmas and are open to taking other breaks as well.

We are hoping to begin with a paid working interview/introduction to Root Canal as a Specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during Root Canal Treatments, no sterilization duties required.
• Take digital dental radiographs
• Manage patient records efficiently and learn to use EndoVision Software.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans and post-procedure care information. All of this info is available in print to send home with your patient and for easy reference.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations

Requirements

• Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
• Experience with digital imaging is preferred
• Strong understanding of dental procedures, and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Be comfortable with Dr Mo?s Samoyed , Mochi, being in his office

Pay: $37.00-$39.00 per hour
