Job Description
As aCloud Developerat UbisoftMontreal, you will help design and build a Kubernetes-managed platform that improves thereliability, scalability, and securityof our infrastructure. You will join a collaborative team that values shared ownership, open communication, and continuous improvement. As a Cloud Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to delivercloud-native solutionsthat support our games and services.
What you’ll do

Own themaintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle managementof internal Kubernetes platform components at scale
-
Design, develop, test, and deployGo-based operators and toolsfor Kubernetes
-
Collaborate withDevOps, infrastructure, and security teamsto ensure stable and secure platform operations
-
Build and maintain features that improvescalability, performance, and resilienceof Kubernetes-managed services
-
Applysecurity best practicesand contribute to compliance across the platform
-
Partner withproduct managers and stakeholdersto translate requirements into technical solutions
-
Contribute toplanning, estimation, and prioritizationwith project managers and team leads
-
Performcode reviews, share knowledge, and foster a collaborative team culture
-
Troubleshoot production issues and proactively identifysystem and process improvements
-
Stay current withcloud-native technologiesand Kubernetes ecosystem best practices as well as participate inon-callrotations
Qualifications
What you bring to the team
-
Demonstrated capabilityoperating and maintaining Kubernetes platformsusing Git Opspractices with tools such as Argo CD
-
Hands-on experience buildingoperators and tools in Gowith clean and maintainable code
-
Proficiency in automation tools andInfrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or similar
-
Ability to set up and maintainCI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools such as Gitlab
-
Practical experience withcontainerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
-
Experience implementingobservability and monitoring solutionsusing Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, ELK
-
Ability to write effectiveunit testsfor Go applications and apply sound testing practices
-
Familiarity with deploying and operating workloads oncloud platformssuch as AWS or Azure
-
Ability to collaborate effectively inagile development environments
