Role Description This full-time remote DevOps Engineer role focuses on building, automating, and maintaining robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines for client projects. The DevOps Engineer will design and implement CI/CD workflows, manage cloud and on-premise environments, and ensure reliable releases through monitoring and performance optimization. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with development and operations teams, writing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code templates, improving system reliability, and troubleshooting production issues. The role also involves implementing security best practices, optimizing resource usage, and contributing to documentation and continuous improvement of DevOps processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, with proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash, or similar). Candidates should possess expertise in Continuous Integration practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps). Candidates should possess hands-on System Administration skills, including experience managing Linux-based environments. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Linux internals, shell scripting, and troubleshooting in production systems. Relevant experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) is highly beneficial. Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent) and an understanding of security best practices in DevOps environments are advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience is preferred. Strong communication skills, ability to work independently in a remote setting, and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional teams.
