Senior Data Analyst
About the role
Role Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Senior Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our Life Insurance operations. Reporting to the Head of Lead Management, this role will be responsible for delivering insights that optimize sales performance, improve customer retention, and support new market expansion initiatives through the transfer of operational knowledge and best practices. The successful candidate will leverage analytics, automation solutions to improve business outcomes, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

Sales Optimization & Growth Support (30%) Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to improve lead conversion, agent productivity, and overall sales effectiveness Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting for key sales metrics Support forecasting, capacity planning, and sales strategy initiatives Provide actionable insights to support the continued growth of the sales organization Identify opportunities to automate reporting and business process

Care & Support Analytics (Post-Sales & Retention) (50%) Analyze customer and policyholder behavior to identify drivers of retention, persistency, and customer satisfaction. Monitor and report on key post-sales metrics, including retention, service levels, and customer experience. Partner with Care & Support teams to identify operational improvement opportunities. Support the development and measurement of customer retention initiatives. Deliver insights that improve customer lifetime value and operational effectiveness.

New Market Expansion & Knowledge Transfer (20%) Support the organization's expansion into new markets by documenting and transferring key operational, sales, lead management, and customer service learnings from existing business operations. Partner with stakeholders to capture best practices, processes, reporting frameworks, and performance insights that can be leveraged in future markets. Develop and maintain knowledge repositories, documentation, and reporting standards to support successful market launches. Identify opportunities to replicate successful sales, lead management, and customer retention strategies across markets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness and consistency during market expansion initiatives. Track and report on key readiness milestones and business learnings throughout implementation programs.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related role. Experience in Life Insurance, Financial Services, or a regulated industry is preferred.
Technical Skills Strong SQL skills, including Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL). Experience using Python for data analysis, reporting, and automation. Proficiency with Power BI and/or Tableau. Experience with Databricks and modern analytics tools. Working knowledge of AI/Machine Learning concepts and predictive analytics. Experience building automated reporting, dashboards, and ETL processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Customer-focused mindset with strong business acumen.
