About the role
Reporting to the AVP, People & Culture, the Manager, People & Culture is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, delivery, and continuous improvement of People & Culture (P&C) programs and services. The Manager is also responsible for developing and executing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives designed to address systemic barriers, promote cultural awareness, and enhance inclusion and belonging across all aspects of the organization.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the AVP, People & Culture, the Manager, People & Culture is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, delivery, and continuous improvement of People & Culture (P&C) programs and services. The Manager is also responsible for developing and executing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives designed to address systemic barriers, promote cultural awareness, and enhance inclusion and belonging across all aspects of the organization. This role ensures effective execution of core P&C operations such as employee relations, recruitment, training and development, performance management, legislative compliance, with a specialization in EDI. The Manager serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees and leads and develops the P&C team.
This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a primary corporate office in Cambridge and access to a satellite office in Toronto.
The Role
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Lead the operational delivery of P&C functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation administration, health and safety, learning and development, and policy governance
- Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of P&C policies, programs, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive EDI strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objective
- Align P&C practices to EDI goals and serve as subject matter expert and trusted advisor on EDI matters to all levels of the organization
- Work collaboratively with leadership and employees, including internal committees, to support and champion EDI initiatives
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Certified Human Resources Professional/Leader (CHRP or CHRL) designation
- 7+ years of progressive human resources experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of people leadership experience
- Experience developing and implementing EDI initiatives and embedding inclusive practices across the employee lifecycle
- Strong employee relations and risk management capability, with sound judgment in handling complex and sensitive people matters
- In‑depth knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and compliance requirements, including Employment Standards, Human Rights, Pay Equity, Occupational Health & Safety, and AODA
- Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills, enabling effective partnership with leaders and cross‑functional teams

Salary Range
The expected base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.
The actual salary will be determined based on factors including but not limited to, market conditions, relevant experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, qualifications, and education.
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs to earn additional compensation. Incentive compensation is tied to established business and individual performance targets.
