We are searching for a driven Account Manager to join our Sales team in our Vancouver location to grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities in the BC region. As a natural communicator, this hungry Account Manager will be confident in their approach while being strategic in their ability to align client needs with BGE offerings. BGE cares about safely delivering healthy indoor air environments and needs an Account Manager who believes the same.

This role primarily serves the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD), with the bulk of travel focused on the downtown Vancouver core, Burnaby, Richmond, and New Westminster, as well as major campus and multi-site locations throughout the region.

The day-to-day activities of our Account Manager will include:

  • Account Management:  Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers in the territory to understand needs, gain market knowledge and recommend actions. Ensure relationships with customers are positive, deliver educational events, and provide solutions to create favorable experiences.
  • Internal Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Service, Product Development, etc.) to leverage expertise, provide insights in building future business initiatives, optimize the customer experience, and drive successful operations in the region.
  • Target Achievement: Develop and independently execute strategic account plans to attain sales quotas / revenue targets in the assigned territory.
  • Site Airchecks and Inspections:  Conducting walk throughs and work on site with customers, attending customers operations meetings, and planning for needs for their business.

The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications on their resume:

  • 2-5 years of previous Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience in outside sales and account management.
  • Documented successful territory management showing consistent revenue growth.
  • Experience crafting sales plans for a vertical/territory and executing on your plan.
  • Experience in the HVAC or Mechanical industry would be an asset.

A successful candidate must be able to pass pre-employment and pre-access drug, cannabis and alcohol tests.

  • A nationwide business with locations across Canada and a manufacturing plant located right in Edmonton
  • A competitive total compensation package including base salary, Variable Incentive Compensation, RSP matching, benefits, vehicle allowance and health spending account. Base salary is approximately $80,000 - $95,000 per year, plus incentive compensation.
