As the Senior Manager, Quality & Compliance for our Cartons & Label’s business unit, you will be responsible for driving excellence in quality standards, regulatory adherence, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic packaging manufacturing environment.
This role champions a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, ensuring that all operational practices align with internal policies, external regulatory requirements as well as customer-specific requirements.
More about your responsibilities:
- Quality Management: Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and lead quality assurance and control programs to drive consistent, high-quality production. Monitor quality metrics and drive data-informed continuous improvement initiatives.
- Customer Engagement: Act as a strategic partner to customer-facing teams, ensuring quality standards align with client expectations and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (SQF, ISO 9001, GMP), lead internal and external audits, and maintain certifications. Ensure supplier compliance through vendor qualification and material certification processes.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to embed quality and compliance into all operations, while leading and developing a high-performing quality team. Lead non-conformance investigations and cross functional CAPA projects
- Documentation & Training: Deliver quality training, maintain document control standards, and manage quality management software systems to support automation and innovation.
What you’ll bring

- Post-Secondary Diploma in Quality or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Food Science or Packaging preferred)
- 8+ years of experience, preferably in a quality/compliance role in the food or pharmaceutical packaging industry
- Strong knowledge of SQF, GMP, ISO 9001, HACCP, and other relevant standards
- Experience managing audits and regulatory inspections
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Certification in Quality Auditing (CQA), Six Sigma, or related fields is an asset
