Sherpa Creative is a small boutique design firm, in the Toronto GTA area, helping businesses with their branding and marketing communications. The studio offers brand strategy, creative production, visual storytelling, event marketing and ongoing collateral for businesses across a range of industries. We focus on delivering creative solutions designed with intent.
Role Description
Sherpa Creative is looking for a part-time Senior Designer in the Toronto, GTA area. In this role you will be responsible for ideation and creative design of print and digital applications, ensuring high-quality creative work across all projects. You will work closely with creative directors, and developers to execute branding work from logo identities through to website design and marketing collateral. You must be comfortable with the production work that follows this type of initial strategy and collaborating with the team to take big-picture ideas and turn them into clean, final deliverables.
Qualifications
8+ years experience in creative design and strategy A portfolio that shows a range across brand identity, digital/web design and brand application with strong fundamentals in typography, colour, composition, and storytelling Strong skills in branding, art direction and design Proficiency in graphic design and industry-standard design software (Adobe CC and Figma), and have a working computer/laptop with access to these softwares Experience in print and digital, website design, and best practice Ability to time manage, adhere to deadlines, handle multiple projects in fast-paced environment Strong communication and presentation skills Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage Live locally in the Toronto, GTA area, as we’d love the option for occasional in-person meet Bonus: social media marketing experience
