About the role

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Technical Sales Specialist for our valves and pumps sector! Are you passionate about solving complex technical problems and have a strong background in electromechanical systems? This could be your next big opportunity!

Your Responsibilities Continue to support our customers and continue to grow the business. Task Description but not limited to: Produce quote quotes using SAP on a regular basis.

  • Answer technical questions from customers
  • Apply Tuchenhagen valves, cleaners and Hilge pumps technology
  • Do sales and technical visit to customers on request
  • Provide maintenance training to end users
  • Receive customer Purchase Orders and enter in SAP-PEM
  • Ensure that sales quotes, customer purchase orders and final sales orders match
  • Review vendor order confirmations for accuracy, forward changes to respective vendor
  • Send Order Acknowledgements to customers
  • Provide delivery updates to customers including tracking status
  • Follow-up on collections of past due receivables upon request
  • Assist sales group with all requests

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or Sales (Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering degree);
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Experience with SAP preferred;
  • Engineering or Sales experience (3-5 years)
  • Experience in Siemens Teamcenter Product Cost Management-Software is beneficial;
  • Good communication skills, positive attitude, and team player;
  • Strong desire to learn;
  • Good work ethic;
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and oral;
  • Language: English – (French is a nice to have) - (international collaboration).

The typical base pay range for this position will be communicated during the phone screen. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
