Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (RQ10077) Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement | 777 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario (Onsite)

Contract: April 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027 (248 business days, probable extension)

About The Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Specialist with proven automation testing expertise to develop comprehensive test plans, automation scripts, and performance test scenarios for large complex business-critical systems. Our ideal candidate excels at leading testing activities and data reconciliation using HP/Microfocus Product Suite (ALM, UFT Performance Center), Selenium, and similar tools while executing automated functional/integration/regression tests across web-based 3-tier platforms and custom/COTS implementations. They will provide strategic testing advice, organize testing efforts across GUI/non-GUI environments, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with load/stress validation.

This onsite leadership role requires excellent coordination across development, business analysts, and project managers in Agile ceremonies, deep experience with workflow/portfolio management systems, IBM J-Rules Engine testing, and Oracle database validation under tight timelines with conflicting priorities.

Lead automation testing strategy, develop test plans/scripts, execute performance testing for complex systems.

Must Haves

• Automation test plans/cases/scripts for complex business systems.
• HP/Microfocus suite (ALM, UFT Performance Center), Selenium expertise.
• Leading testing + data reconciliation for large complex business-critical systems.
• Automated/performance test scenarios execution for large systems.
• Web-based 3-tier platforms + custom/COTS implementations testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on testing strategy, tools, resources for complex systems.
• Develop automation test plans/scripts/cases; execute against components.
• Execute functional/integration/system/regression + performance tests.
• Defect tracking (ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Position Details

• Location: 777 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario (5 days onsite per week)
• Hours: 7.25 hours per day
