Purpose of the role:
The Coordinator, Finance will be expected to provide on-site administrative support to the Finance team. This position requires the successful candidate to work on-site, in the office, 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bank runs and cheque signings
- Review online wire transactions before sending for approval
- Backup for Trust Deposit postings
- Distribution of mail within the department
- Updates and organization of safekeeping vault
- Various disbursement entries or vendor invoice reconciliations
- Completing Audit Inquiry requests
- Preparation of Law Society EFT forms
- Entering cheques in CMS for Partners’ payroll tax remittances
- Communicating and coordinating with off-site staff to assist with in-office tasks
- Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Key Competencies
- 1-2 years of customer service and/or administration experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Basic accounting skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000, depending on level of experience, region/location, and other factors.
