About the role

Our client, a national business law firm, is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to support its visibility, growth, and market positioning initiatives. This opportunity is suited for an organized, versatile, and service-oriented professional looking to evolve in a demanding and collaborative environment.

The firm is involved in strategic mandates at both the national and international levels and relies on a proactive approach to marketing and business development to strengthen client relationships and consolidate its market presence.

Role As Marketing and Business Development Coordinator, you will support practice groups and partners in planning and executing initiatives aimed at increasing the firm’s visibility and supporting its growth objectives. You will play a central role in project coordination, production of marketing materials, and organization of client activities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, presentations, and promotional materials
  • Support business development initiatives across practice groups
  • Contribute to drafting and updating marketing content, including biographies, publications, and external communications
  • Assist in organizing events, conferences, seminars, and client activities
  • Ensure logistical and administrative follow-up for marketing initiatives
  • Maintain and update client databases and CRM tools
  • Conduct research on markets, industries, and target clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency of messaging and positioning
  • Coordinate internal processes related to tenders and business opportunities
  • Prepare reports and track marketing and business development activities

Requirements

  • University or college degree in marketing, communications, administration, or a related field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in marketing or business development, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and internal client service orientation
  • Autonomy, rigor and strong prioritization skills
  • Strong proficiency with computer tools and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with CRM or digital marketing tools is an asset
  • Bilingual (French/English)
