Job Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting as the Senior Accountant, Banking and Finance you will monitor, project and report on cash management and treasury for the business unit. You also assist in securing new interim financing and act as a resource to employees at all levels.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Preparing financing proposals for tenders and submitting to corporate finance
Enhancing liquidity through timely tenders of financing proposals or requests and maximizing amount of financing obtained.
Contribute to banking relationship management, administration and reporting.
Fostering positive relationships and maintaining strong mutual trust with corporate finance, responding to information requests in an efficient manner.
Developing and providing guidance to other members of the accounting team.
Acting as a mentor and referral point to all levels of Qualico employees for financing and cash management or treasury matters.
Preparing and submitting requests for funding to corporate finance
Assisting in the preparation of annual financial reports when required.

Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Minimum 3 years of commercial lending experience, preferably in Real Estate industry in a supervisory position.
Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint) and using accounting software (NewStar or similar).
