About This Role

Reporting to the Group Controller and working closely with the VP of Finance, the Regional Controller will play a key role in supporting FFUN’s dealership operations across Yorkton, Saskatchewan and Swan River, Manitoba.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations, supporting business decision-making, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple locations. The role will partner closely with department managers and operational leaders to provide insights, drive accountability, and support continued growth. The ideal candidate is a CPA who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and is motivated by both structure and influence.

This role is ideally based in Yorkton or the surrounding area. Candidates based in Saskatoon will be considered, with an expectation of travel to Yorkton (more frequent during onboarding, and approximately once per month thereafter).

Responsibilities Include

Overseeing accounting and administrative functions across multiple dealership locations Leading and supporting accounting and admin teams, providing guidance and development Collaborating closely with dealership leadership to support financial performance and decision-making Leading financial review meetings and delivering insights on key business metrics Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process in partnership with operational leaders Reviewing payroll processes and ensuring accurate reconciliation of CRA accounts Preparing and reviewing year-end documentation for external auditors Ensuring compliance with manufacturer financial reporting requirements Preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly financial statements Overseeing cheque approvals and ensuring all taxes, licensing, insurance, and regulatory obligations are met

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate brings a CPA designation along with 3–5 years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting role, ideally within a multi-entity or operationally complex environment. They are a strong people leader with experience developing teams, and bring a high level of accountability, attention to detail, and financial discipline. Comfortable working cross-functionally, they are able to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Experience within the automotive or dealership environment is considered an asset but is not required. Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., PBS) and a demonstrated ability to leverage technology effectively. The successful candidate will be proactive, solutions-oriented, and bring a positive, team-first attitude.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a competitive base salary in the range of CAD$100,000–$140,000, based on experience.
