The Fabrication Manager will be responsible for supporting and overseeing daily fabrication operations, resources, and safety while leading projects from planning through execution. The Fabrication Manager will serve as a technical escalation point, mentor and supervise fabrication staff, and establish best practices for prototyping, quality, and documentation. Ensure computer numerical control (“CNC”) equipment readiness, balance workloads across projects, resolve complex technical challenges, and communicate timelines and constraints with engineering and operations teams.
Job Duties:
- Support and oversee day-to-day fabrication operations under senior leadership guidance;
- Lead fabrication projects from planning through execution;
- Coordinate work assignments, scheduling, task prioritization, and resource allocation;
- Supervise fabrication technologists and oversee daily production and prototype work;
- Act as a technical escalation point and resolve complex technical and operational challenges;
- Establish and maintain best practices for prototyping, documentation, quality control, and safety;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication operations;
- Mentor, train, and develop team members through coaching and performance feedback;
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, proper equipment usage;
- Ensure CNC equipment maintenance schedules and operational readiness;
- Communicate fabrication constraints and timelines to engineering and operations teams;
- Balance workloads, timelines, and capacity across multiple projects;
- Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams on manufacturability, constraints, and timelines;
- Maintain proficiency with CAD/CAM tools and CNC programming concepts and operations; and
- Other duties assigned and consistent with the role.
**Terms of Employment: **
Permanent and full-time (40 hours/week).
Language of Work:
English
Wage: $50.48- $ 55.29 per hour per year based on skills, qualifications, experience, etc.
Benefits package offered:

- Project Management Professional Certification
- Certificate or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field or experience desirable but not required
Work Experience Requirements:
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, and other general computer skills
- 5+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Possess leadership abilities, and be able to manage a team
- Proficiency in project planning, risk assessment, and cross-team coordination
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
- Remains composed under pressure, calm and patient demeanor when dealing with contacts
- Maintaining regular schedule with occasional extended hours
- Enjoy people and interaction in the professional environment
- Self-motivated to initiate and complete tasks and solve problems
- Strong technical background in fabrication and electromechanical systems
- Experience in both electronics and mechanical fabrication environments
