Charter Specialist/Scheduler
Standard Bus Contracting is currently seeking a charter administration support professional to join our team in Whitehorse. This role is responsible for addressing the needs of charter customers and delivering exceptional customer service.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Quote customers on charter requests
- Assign bids to drivers
- Answer phone calls, return messages, and handle inquiries
- Respond to emails and requests in a timely manner
- Assist charter drivers with questions regarding pick-up and drop-off locations
- Prepare charter waybills promptly for clients
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Knowledge of Highway Traffic Acts and Regulations
- Knowledge of federal Hours of Service legislation
- Multitasking and ability to handle high-volume of workloads
- Map reading ability with knowledge of Whitehorse and the Territory
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professional conduct within a high-volume environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working Conditions
This is a permanent, part-time position working Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Availability for on-call as required including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
