Job Description Our Stamford invigilators facilitate and support our candidates throughout their external examinations and also through some formal mock exams, working both individually and as part of a friendly, supportive team.
There are opportunities to invigilate throughout the academic year, with the most opportunity falling in May and June and so availability during those months is important.
We offer full training and the many benefits of joining Stamford School as a valued employee and member of the Examinations team.
Essential Criteria
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Good literacy and numeracy.
- Good communication and administration skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and make a valid contribution.
- Ability to work flexibly.
- Ability to adhere to rules and regulations.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good decision making.
- Display a good standards of personal presentation.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of working with children.
- Understanding of Safeguarding, KCSIE, and the procedures of recording and reporting concerns.
- Possess a level of general digital literacy.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrate good organisational skills.
- Ability, flexibility and willingness to take on other reasonable responsibilities as requested.
