Part-Time Student Position

We are currently looking for a student enrolled in a Biotechnology DEC program who wishes to apply their learning in a hands-on way by joining our laboratory team for approximately 7 to 15 hours per week (with the possibility of full-time work during school breaks).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and label materials used for embryo production.
- Participate in quality control procedures (pH and temperature measurements).
- Assist with cell structure fixation, staining, and slide mounting. Read slides using fluorescence microscopy.
- Support technicians in routine production operations as needed (e.g., oocyte retrieval and fertilization, semen preparation, embryo transfer and freezing, and culture media preparation).
- Sterilize lab equipment and maintain work surfaces.
- Prepare basic solutions according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Student who has completed and passed the first year of a Biotechnology DEC program.
- Proficient in pipetting and aseptic techniques.
- Attention to detail.
- Organizational and observational skills.
- Teamwork and communication.
- Analytical and scientific mindset.
