We’re Hiring!

We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for an HR Payroll Systems Coordinator in our Human Resources Department at our Leamington ON Farms facility.

What You'll Do:

  • Priva Labour Program:
    • Reviewing employee work and productivity data inputs to ensure information is correct.
    • Processing activity reports for managers/supervisors as needed.
    • Ensuring activity tag boards are up to date.
    • Programming new job/row tags and replacing broken tags ASAP if needed.
    • Ensure produce bins/carts and scales are calibrated for accurate production values.
    • Assisting with the inventory of stock and supplies of PRIVA readers and tags.
    • Assisting with program setup and maintenance.
    • Working with supervisors on QC reports weekly.
    • Training and/or assisting supervisors with on proper use of the software and how to review data.
    • Creating and maintaining crop setup and plant density.
    • Creating and maintaining activity codes based on crop requirements/new crops.
  • Timecard / Prep for Payroll:
    • Prepare weekly activity cost reports and review/adjust all piece-rate costs in Priva.
    • Keep employee cost profiles updated for new employees, transfers, etc.
    • Run experience report on weekly basis and ensure piece-rate eligible employees are correctly adjusted.
    • On a weekly basis, review greenhouse quality report and adjust employee cost profiles accordingly.
    • On a weekly basis, upload Priva information to ADP for supervisor review and make corrections as necessary.
  • Supporting the HR team with a variety of general duties and company events as required.
  • Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.
  • This job description highlights the main components but is not inclusive of other activities that may be required.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years progressive experience in a Human Resources/Analytical role is an asset.
  • A post-secondary education relating to Human Resources and/or Business Administration/Business Management would be an asset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, power query, etc) are required.
  • Experience using PowerBI is a definite asset
  • Experience using ADP is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships of trust with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and must be a good team player.
  • Strong problem-solving skills required to analyze/solve problems and any unforeseen complications that could arise.
  • Proven track record with seeing jobs/projects through to completion while meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task while having strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • Strong conflict management abilities and understanding of employee relationships
  • Flexibility to work on weekends/after hours for company events.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the position.

What To Expect:

  • Works in an office setting with travel between locations as needed.
  • Works with a diverse group of employees, management, and departments.
  • The HR Payroll Systems Coordinator works Monday – Friday, occasional holidays and weekends as needed.
  • Office setting- walking, sitting, and standing throughout the day
  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
